Gameweek 6 Review

So all the big teams won over the weekend. How did our True Dedication Fantasy League managers do? Read on to find out.

League Table

It looks like Ethan Tan won’t be overtaken at the top any time soon. He has a 25 points lead after GW6. He is proving to be very consistent this season. Maurice Li, Small Boy and EYY Rox all climbed up the ranks to fill the 2nd to 4th spots. Our defending champion, Chun Boon Tan, is still keeping pace with the leaders despite dropping to 5th position. xuanwei teo, Gavin Tan, ivan lee, Alvin Toe and Wenjie Ang make up the rest of the top 10.

Talking Points

Four managers, Teck Beng Tan, Adrian Koh, Vaanan Ramasamy and Leow Yong Khiang decided to take -8 points each but they couldn’t get a very high score and all of them ended up with less than 60 points each after deducting the transfers cost.

dylan yeo left 22 points on his bench while Berd Nerd left 21 points on his bench. Small Boy also left many points on the bench with 19 bench points. We have 13 managers who are very careful with their transfers and have yet to deduct any transfers cost so far this season. Another 7 wildcards were played in GW6 while one manager used his Triple Captain.

Chips Comments:

Looks like the managers did fairly ok with their wildcard chips this week unlike the previous weeks where many managers got rather bad results.

Ron Lim chose Jesus to use his Triple Captain chip on. Can understand why he chose Jesus, given Man City were playing the poor Crystal Palace and City did win by a big margin. The problem is Jesus did not play! Luckily for him, de Gea was his vice-captain and he got a clean sheet with 1 bonus point and a save point to earn Ron 24 points from his chip.
